Deseret Dairy Products – We have been implementing many of the recommendations from your mass balance plant audit with great success! Your recommendation on our butter churn has saved us about 70 pounds of butter per run. By working with our vendors, we have been able to decrease our overfill of containers which has helped us to achieve a higher yield on our fluid milk products. Finally, from your analysis of our butterfat and protein testing we have concluded that we have overpaid for protein and butterfat by approximately $85,000 in the first six months of this year. We will be purchasing the Foss FT-120 to better analyze our products. Glen and I cannot say enough about how DSI has helped us save money by opening our eyes on what we needed to do to capture more of our product.
