Customer Conference 2010

The 2010 DSI Customer Conference “Knowledge Is Key” was held at Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin from May 23 – 25, 2010. Customers from across the country attended and were welcomed by beautiful Wisconsin weather.

Per customer requests, Sunday classes were offered for Understanding Dairy Liquid Costing and Actual Dairy Production Costing. A Sunday evening dinner cruise was the formal kick-off of the conference. It was a great venue for our clients meeting other attendees and DSI staff.

Monday and Tuesday offered multiple tracks of subjects of individual software module presentations and industry classes, such as Yield Optimization, Plant Shrinks and Product Traceability.

A hands-on lab afforded our customers the opportunity to have a one-on-one meeting with both DSI staff and management.

We also had the privilege of having industry experts present. Dr. Robert Cropp from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, spoke on today’s dairy economics and the changing marketplace. It is always a pleasure to have him join us. Also speaking was Paul Reinhard from T. C. Jacoby on understanding the Basics of Federal Orders during the Pooling 101 Class.

We also debuted our new “True Dairy Costing” software module. It was exciting to get positive feedback from our customers on this new product.

We want to personally thank the companies and attendees for their investment in participating at the 2010 conference. Your time, friendship and thoughts are always appreciated.

Sincerely,
Sherrie and Ryan Mertes
